The Qan Imperium became the dominant power across the Myriads and into the Margins in the wake of a tumultuous war that saw them win a decisive and brutal victory. With the exception of the Reaches, the Imperium holds the fate of the Blighted Isles in an iron grasp.

Details

A time before the Imperium is a fading memory. Today, their armies and fleets control large swaths of territory in the isles, and their expeditionary forces use coercion and warfare to expand their dominion ever further. Other nations are little more than vassals, their puppet governments loyal to the empire. But there are whispers that the empire has grown complacent. Is this the day the once-freeborn people of the isles relight the fires of revolution and reclaim their legacy?

For now, however, the Qan Imperium suppress dissent through subversion and proxy wars as much as possible. That said, however, when they do bring their own strength to bear, they have formidable and disciplined military forces.

The Imperium is led by the wealthy elite - wealth is might when you can buy the loyalty of anyone you have need of, and pay others to look away when you dispose of those you no longer have need of.
