Exhausted, and with both melee fighters’ health depleted, the party does what any sensible adventurers would do...it splits up to go explore this dangerous mine, each person taking a different route. All except for Verity and Tommy who have the sense to stay back with Don-Jon and tend to their wounds.

Some discoveries are made: an unconscious body, a sight of something dangerous, some golden nuggets and a pair of goggles.
