Our heroes chose to help protect the Amberdune Pack from possible repercussions of their actions AND to finish raising the money to resurrect their dead leader, Nidalia. After returning to Candlekeep and finalizing these arrangements, they passed a number of months in their private studies again. The remainder of the summer and early fall were uneventful, until the Highharvesttide celebration. Here each garnered some attention as a result of their unique gifts - Jayce and Bardak for their unique spells, and Lyra for her closeness to animals - but from an unexpected source...a raven! Much later that night, just before Highharvesttide officially ended, Lyra was falling asleep in the planetarium of Fistandia's Magnificent Mansion when she noticed that same raven inside with her and it had a book clutched in its talons. After eyeing her for a few moments, I placed the book on the ground, stretched out its wings, shook itself, and then just disappeared; leaving the book behind. Players hit level 3.
